Do shortcode in template?

  • Hello,

    Is it possible to use the shortcode inside of a template file (not in actual post / page content)?

    When I enter this in to my template file, nothing shows up:
    ` <?php do_shortcode(‘[mc4wp_form]’); ?>

    I have my mail chimp API key set up and I’ve selected what list the form subscribes to.

    Should it be working in the above scenario?
