Do you know why people can't comment on my post?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    It could possibly have to do with the WP3 plugin, because that thing always seems to be acting up! But the problem is I don’t want to test it at the moment because I’d risk my site crashing, even disabling it for just a few minutes.

    I’ll try later tonight, perhaps. In the meantime… I still can’t leave a comment, but I haven’t taken my blue comment down. Does anyone know why comments could be showing up with a blue background?
