Do you think "TEASER" on posts work?

  • I meant to use teaser on my posts to be able to identify whether those who go to my landing page (HOME) read my latest posts- hence be able to count them as pageview from specific post. However, I’ve observed that since I implemented this, my pageviews rocketed! I’m not interested in increasing page views (I’m more interested in increasing uniques). It seems to me that using the teaser increased engagement over the blog overall and lowered bounce rates- I think. What do you think?

  • Of course “teasers” work. It’s nothing new, all forms of media already do that. Just look at any newspaper, magazine, news broadcast, major website, etc.
