do_shortcode Not Working

Hello,
This plugin looks exactly what I need, but I can’t use <?php echo do_shortcode(“{EVR_CALENDAR}”); ?> it just prints {EVR_CALENDAR}. Shortcodes from other plugins do work so I was wondering if it’s not supported in this plugin? Hope someone can help. Thanks
