Document handling in WP?

  • Hi!
    I ahve a problem. I’m moving a site from Joomla to WP and most things from Joomla can be replaced in WP. But I have one big problem. In Joomla we have a function that a user can log in on the site and then see a new item in the menu that’s called “document”. If they click on it they can se pdf-documents that we administrates via the Joomla admin panel. Is there a way to do the same i WP? Or something like it?
    I need to create something that the user can log in to and then see our documents, but no change them. Preferably it sould be easy to change and update the to.
    So, something like Google Docs sharing, but you shouldn’t have to log in with a g-mail, or not a emailadress at all, just a username.
    Can someone help me??
