Document Preview

  • Is it possible to preview documents on the site on the front end? Right now it is only possible to download them.

    Some browsers will open an attached file in the browser rather than immediately downloading it, but it depends on the browser and the user’s preferences.

    As far as showing thumbnails of the attachments or similar, I don’t think we have that capability, because a file could be of many types, many of which it would be difficult to offer a thumbnail of, like Word docs or spreadsheets, etc.
