    Hi,

    It is pretty straightforward.
Add a new animation and upload your JSON file. Copy the shortcode and paste it where you want it to appear.

What do you need help with?

im not sure where to get the short code from ? and how does the this plugin actually help ?

It helps you add an animation exported from AE’s lottie plugin as a JSON file, into a WordPress page / post as a shortcode.

You add a new animation under the ‘Animations’ menu entry in your backend and right below the ‘Preview’ section there should be a ‘Shortcode generator’ section from which you get your shortcode from.

hey man are you having problems with internet explorer 11 and the bodymovin wp plugin, I find it renders better in chrome and safari

    Hi James,

Since this plugin uses the ‘official’ lottie/bodymovin library untouched everything that works with that, should with WP Bodymovin.

So to debug your issue, check the “Demo – Exports an html for local preview” when creating your animation’s JSON in AE. Then you can test with the exported html file in IE11 to see if it works as it should.

If it is a file you got from lottiefiles.com, then you can check that file directly on IE11 by visiting the lottiefiles.com page in IE11. If it works smoothly there it should also work through WP Bodymovin.

Here is your video. I will also embed it into the plugin’s description.

    Thank you!
