Documentation and "payments"

Hi,

First thanks for this great extension. So far, it has really helped me.

Second, I am wondering if you have any plans on producing documentation for this extension? Some of the features are still nebulous.

Third, I notice there is a Total payment counter being incremented. At which point is it increased? What is the value of a Payment and where is it set?
