Documentation Around Status: Not Sent

When sending 10-20 emails at the same time we always get 1-2 emails that have a status of “Status: Not Sent” in the Email Error Log. Nothing comes up as to why the emails were not sent. I have scoured the Technical Details in the Email Log as well as our PHP error logs and nothing comes up. What are the possible reasons for getting a Status: Not Sent? Just trying to figure out where I should look next.
