• I just downloaded lose my mind ii and the .css file seems to contain a whole load of data which (to my uneducated eye) looks like malware.
there’s a few instances of sections which start :

    (data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhHgCBANUAAAAAAP///09lg1dwkFdwkF54m155nGeBo2qDpXSMq3aNrH+VsoOYtIqeuI+iu5epwJytw6Ky……

could anyone tell me if this is safe ? are themes which are listed on www.ads-software.com checked to be ok ? can i just remove those sections and carry on as normal ?

    thanks for any advice.

  • Not a mod or a staff member, but I would suggest keeping a hard copy of the zipped up theme and then removing those suspicious strings from your working theme copy and seeing what happens.

Removing them shouldn’t be a problem.

dont worry that chunk of code is just a base64 encoded image. It a valid data URI image type but not supported by some browsers (IE).
