Does 5.4.0 not work as a free version like 5.3x

    I was about to update my free version of the plugin and noted that the following statement is at the top of the change log:

    Version – The Events Calendar 5.4.0 is only compatible with Events Calendar PRO 5.3.0 and higher

    Does this mean that the free version of the plugin is now not going to be updated or does it mean that if you are using the PRO version you have to update that to at least 5.3.0?

    I think it’s the latter, but I would like to be sure

    Hi @npf-marketing-services,

    It means that if you’re using the PRO version you’ll need version 5.3.0 in order to be compatible with The Events Calendar 5.4.0.

    It’s not a requirement to have PRO if you want to use TEC 5.4.0
