• I implemented this plug in, after purchasing the Pro features to allow for RETS integration. Support was excellent in the beginning, but tapered off some once “everything” was live and functional. It is not non-existent, just not as good as it was in the very beginning.

One unresolved problem is that there are a few fields in the Innovia MLS but not available for mapping in Realtyna’s WPL system, and one is even a required field. I’ve been back and forth with Realtyna for months with no real answer. They apparently don’t want to or don’t have the technical ability or knowledge to fix it. The last response from Realtyna was “I couldn’t find these 2 fields into the MLS fields so we cannot map them to WPL fields.” I don’t understand how they are required in the MLS, but not available as an option in WPL. I’ve sent them yet another email and will update this review if this issue is resolved. For anyone who is curious, the fields we have discovered that are missing are “Buyer Broker Field” and either “Special Assessment” or “Yearly Assessment.”

Other than that, the experience has been good, and “everything” is otherwise functional. It is not a perfect system, but is acceptable.

I feel everyone should have the right to know, these are the emails I received from Realtyna after posting the above review.

In all fairness, I believe Alex when they say the missing fields are not being provided by the MLS provider being used. And, I will check with the MLS provider on this. What I don’t understand is why it took a less than 5-star review to get this answer. I’ve asked several times why the fields are missing, and have never gotten an answer, just that they aren’t there and can’t be mapped. If I had been told this sooner, then I could have checked on it with the MLS provider and not blamed Realtyna for the lack of options.

I still need ongoing support and feel threatened by these messages that if I don’t change this review to 5 stars, I will receive no support, or less helpful support than I should be receiving. This is a terrible tactic for an upstanding company to use. The product works, but isn’t 100%, or isn’t a 5-star product. Before receiving these bullying emails, I would have upped it to 4 stars, but now I’m more disappointed than 3.

    Jill,

We saw your review on WordPress community. We don’t feel it’s fair to place a review like that, when the metadata of your MLS provider doesn’t bear such field. Needless to say, when a field exists in the MLS provider, we don’t have any issue to map it. This is our daily job.

We appreciate if you change the review in a better situation as we did our best to support you all the time.

    Happy new year 2016!

    Regards

    Alex A.

    Jill,

You claimed something in your review that we had previously already discussed with you on November 19, 2015. A considerable amount of time has passed prior to your review. Your review is not a current up to date review that discloses all of the updated communication and can not be a factor in supporting or answering you.

When a field doesn’t exist, we can’t map it. It is that simple and understandable – even without basic IT knowledge. I am sure, as a developer, you understand this. If a field exists, we are able to map it and there is no reason we would hesitate to do so.

You had promised us that you would change your review but you haven’t to date. We have reminded you of your own promise but it still has not been changed. If you don’t want to hold your promise to change it, keep it – it’s the freedom of expression. We have provided excellent support to many professional and happy clients for several years now with excellent feedback. It is understood – collectively speaking – that companies can not please all of the people all of the time, through no fault of their own. At Realtyna, even in those cases, we continue to try our best.

Again, publishing private emails and posting negative comments towards our team in your review, has nothing to do with our level of support. We have had a defined level of support for 8 years and we work based on that policy. As you can see, our high level of support also happily covers our free clients. https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/real-estate-listing-realtyna-wpl/page/11 It is irrelevant to remind us that you paid to make sure you received support.

    Regards,
    Realtyna Inc

Alex and the entire support team at Realtyna are awesome! Why would you want to reflect a low review for a problem on your end? Hello, missing field? Call the MLS provider and get the right column so they can map what you want. Especially for the cost of this service? Try another company to do organic mls and compare the cost. And, OF COURSE they will be more supportive to go outside the scope of work if you support them with a great review. As I also suggested initially I would love to give a great review in the end of our business relationship… And I believe they have done many things outside the general scope of work in my case without any review until today… AFTER the site is working perfectly! I can not say this is why, but I can’t say it didn’t help ?? Great teamwork keeping in constant communication with my project. Thanks guys, and Jill, work with them to fix your site and fix your review. This software does exactly what it says and customer service is better than any other complex wordpress plugin! -Paul
