# does an event search in widget

    I have my WordPress site with the event list as a widget on the right side of a page. If on the left side of the page in my content area I have links that go to anchors on the same page using #here, it jumps the page correctly but seems to do an event search at the same time when the # link is clicked.

    Has anyone else had this or know how to stop it from happening?

    I’m sorry that you’re having issues with the plugin. I believe this can be a conflict happening.
    Testing for Conflicts tutorial can be a good start point
