Does anyone here have a Samsung Galaxy Smartphone?

    The registration procedure fails immediately after the WordPress username/email address/password part.

    I am guessing the modal dialog box saying “Your profile is empty. To take advantage of the site and being more visible, thank you to complete it.” might be the problem.

    The users with Samsung Galaxy smartphones complaining of this problem, never send in a screenshot of the screen. They say the buttons don’t work.

    So I guess the modal dialog cannot be dismissed and just freezes the screen.

    Solutions could be:

    1. Make the modal dialog box disappear automatically after 10 seconds
    2. Maybe the problem is the × sign to close the box. Maybe Samsung Galaxy smartphones do not display this html entity correctly.

    It would be so useful if someone with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone could send in a screenshot of the problem screen.

    I have just tested it with a new Samsung Galaxy Ultra. I used both the Samsung inbuilt browser and the Google Chrome one.

    Both worked perfectly with the Rencontre registration procedure.

    The only issue is that on the Samsung browser, the “Your profile is empty. To take advantage of the…” modal dialog box did not fit on the portrait orientation screen. The close X button was off the screen. I managed to close it by just swiping to move the screen so it was showing.

    Is this the problem? Do some Samsung Galaxy users complain the registration procedure does not work, just because they don’t swipe around to get the close X button to show?

    Or is the problem that some older Samsung Galaxy phones have the problem and new ones don’t?

    Or is the problem something else and nothing to do with the modal dialogs?

    This ticket can be closed. I think the user was not scrolling down the screen to see the “save” button.
