Does Broadcast continually sync?

  • Hello!

    Love the plugin, but still trying to figure some things out.

    Does Broadcast continuously sync content with child sites?

    I just pushed out page to my network sites and checked back about an hour later and noticed that all the content had reverted back to the master page.

    If so, is there a way to disable this?

    Reverted?

    Broadcast will only update the linked children when the parent post is published (updated).

    Child pages should not change their content by themselves.

    I’ll double-check on my end, but I was pretty sure I did not hit the “update” button on the pages.

    Is there any conflicts with caching? I’m hosting these sites on WPEngine which I believe does some aggressive caching.

    Thanks for the quick response! I purchased the 3rd Party Add-On package last evening. Is this the best manner to receive support?

    I haven’t heard any complaints regarding caching – even with the WPEngine people, that generally have a tendency to do weird, nonstandard things.

    Regarding the 3rd party pack – if you have questions about Broadcast itself, this forum is fine.

    If you have questions about the add-ons, then e-mail is the best.

    One last question:

    This environment is built in Themeco’s Cornerstone / Pro Builder. Are there any plans to integrate Broadcast with some of it’s unique features like Global Blocks (different from “Global Blocks for Cornerston”) and their header and footer builder?

    No current plans, but that’s because nobody has asked me.

    I have no experience with that theme, so what is it that needs to be done, more exactly? Perhaps we can do this via e-mail?
