Does changing WordPress Address and Site Address to // instead of https:// break?

    I’m trying to make my website capable of switching between http and https, but Im not quite sure if this will break anything.

  • Hey there,

    WordPress is agnostic to whether you’re using SSL (https) or not, so you should keep the site address the same – and configure the secure connection on the server.

    Hopefully this makes sense, and I haven’t misunderstood your question!
