Hi, does cleantalk encode email addresses on the site? I use CT on almost 10 sites, but wonder wether I should also install email encoder plugin to protect visible mail addresses or mailto: links. Couldn’t find the answer in your docs or here.

    Hello.
We do not provide such a feature.

    Hi @katereji,

Does it still stand that CleanTalk does not support email encoder? This page states that it does and after installing and setting up the plugin, it does not appear to be encoding emails.

    “EMAIL ADDRESS ENCODER
CleanTalk Anti-Spam offers a feature called “Encode contact data” that is designed to encode all email addresses on the website pages. Encoding the email addresses increases the level of protection of contact data from being abused, parsed, getting spammed and used in spam mailing lists by bots and online criminals.
To reveal the encoded email address simply click on it and it will be decoded instantly.”

If this feature is available now, can you guide me where to enable it?

Actually, I found it! Looks like it is a relatively new feature.

    Hello @meo8.

Yes, starting from version 5.177 we provide such an opportunity.

You can enable this option in the Data Processing section here:
WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Anti-Spam by Cleantalk → Advanced settings → set “Encode contact data” to “on” → Save settings.
