I just got the plugin working and the banner comes up in Chrome, but it does not in Safari (on Mac). I saw a thread from a year ago that it wasn’t working in Safari. Is this still the case?

Just to make sure I just checked our own site on safari: it works fine.

In the thread you are referring to, the issue was an ad blocker, not related to safari as such. If you have an ad blocker enabled, you generally don’t need a banner. Such ad blockers tend to block cookie banners as well. Disabling the ad blocker resolves the issue.

If you post your domain here we can check if your site shows the banner in safari.

The only extension I have running in Safari is 1password. By the way, I’m running Safari 14. Is that what you tried it on? Someone told me that 14 it has new privacy features built in, but I don’t see any.

It also doesn’t work in in a Private Window.

I just tried it only another mac with Safari 14 and it worked there. So there is obviously something messing it up on my macbook. Not your problem then. Thanks.

    Hi @slobizman,

Thanks for the update, just updated to 14 myself to check this, and also no problems there.

Maybe you can try to reset your Safari settings to factory defaults.
