• I checked the demo site, great stuff! Looks like shortcode ability is only a pro version, but I was curious if it’s possible to use shortcode on pages/posts to display feeds using the free version of the plugin?

    Thanks

    Hi @wordmax,

Thanks for checking Super RSS Reader.

The ability to insert the RSS reader anywhere using shortcodes is available only in the PRO version.

In the free version, you can display the RSS reader in the sidebar using widgets. The plugin is designed this way since usually RSS feeds are displayed on the side. The shortcode feature is available in the PRO version for advanced custom usecases.

Since this is a support forum for free version, we can discuss further if you are interested using the contact form below.

    Hello,

I installed the free version of Super RSS Reader, and I’m a bit stuck.

Question 1: Can I add a widget to a page? I don’t see a way to do it.

Question 2: Does the free version work *only* in a sidebar?

Question 3: In the block editor I see a choice for RSS (WP default for feeds) but not Super RSS Reader. What should I look for, and where?

    Your help is appreciated!

Hey dude if it took this long to get any interaction about a simple question, then I would say do not bother with the plugin any longer.

Feedzy and WP RSS feed aggregator apps do the trick.

I saw the question above, and thought I’d try to ask my own question about this issue.

Looks like you have moved on from this plugin. Are you using either of the two you mention? Do they work for you?
