Does groups restrict categories works with "The events calendar plugin"?

hello,
i’m using groups restrict categories with “the events calendar plugin”. This calendar plugin seems to use the wordpress custom post type to manage the events and events category. In the events category page i can’t see the plugin fields. I’ve checked in the plugin settings page and the events category is in the list groups restrict category and it’s active. Notice that in the single events page i can use restriction without any problem. So the problem seems caused by some display issues in the events category page. What can i do?

P.S.: I tried to ask this question in the support forum of the plugin developers directly (itthinx.com) but i posted 2 questions, the first last week, the second this week, they keep putting them in pending review and they do not publish them nor answer them. I cannot waste any more time, please help.
