Does “honey pot” block good bots?

It’s possible, but anyway, it will get blocked for the time you set in “How long is an IP address blocked when it breaks a rule“, so make sure to set a reasonable time there that allows you to review the blocked bots once per day for example to make sure there is no good ones got blocked by mistake, also having “How should we treat Google’s crawlers” set to “Verified Google crawlers have unlimited access to this site” will whitelist Google crawlers for you.
