Does “include=” work in gallery shortcode?

    I read that the include function is supposed to work for gallery shortcode for specifying specific images to be included in a gallery (and thus the ability to have multiple galleries on one page.)
    Does that work in 2.9.1? It doesn’t seem to be working for me.
