    Hello,

    Does it require XML-RPC enabled?

If not, would like to disable connection with XML-RPC for security purpose, could you please clarify?

    Thanks

    Hi @alexliii

Yes, it requires XML-RPC enabled. An XML-RPC connection is used to communicate with WordPress.com, when the XML-RPC is disabled, this communication is simply not possible.

Further information can be found here: https://woocommerce.com/document/google-listings-and-ads/#section-30

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Thanks for reply.

From my understanding, XML-RPC is used for onboard with WordPress.com, so, can I disable XML-RPC after onboard?

If no, anyway set rules and only enabled with this plugin or WordPress.com ?

    thanks

It’s also used for communication with Jetpack as well as Google Listings and Ads. It may be possible to create a script which only allows this plugin to communicate with XML-RPC, but that would require customizations that are beyond the scope of this support. Codeable.io might be a good place to find assistance with this.

    Hope this helps!
