  • @hakimisolutions – Thanks for coming up with the idea of using WooCommerce Product enquiry with WCMp and SMS notification. I have listed down my comments in respect to your queries below.

    1) Does it support woocommerce product enquiry ? Enquiry should go to vendors emails.
    >> Yes, you can use WooCommerec Product Enquiry with the WCMp. Coming to the enquiry emails that vendors will receive. I would like to inform that yes it is also possible. As WooCommerce Product Enquiry provides a field at the admin’s backend, where the admin can fill the multiple vendors’ email id by placing a comma to separate the email ids.

    2) can we notify vendor by sms ?

    >> Unfortunately, there is no such features available where vendors will get the notification through SMS currently. But I have listed this feature in our to-do-list, if this will be possible, we will try to integrate it in our plugin.

Hope this shared information will be helpful.

    Regards,
    Rimpa

    1) but I don’t want to mail enquiry to all ids, it should go to vendor who uploaded products

    2) I can help by giving sms API from my sms server if U plan to develop

    1) but I don’t want to mail enquiry to all ids, it should go to vendor who uploaded products
    >> Let me explain this point after you install WooCommerce Product Enquiry plugin and activate it. Please follow this path:

WooCommerce >> Settings >> General : Product Enquiries.

Under Product Enquiries, you will see a field named “
Product enquiry email”, here you can fill the email ids of only those vendors who have uploaded their products and this will be done manually by the admin. To separate the emails of the vendors, you have to use commas in between each email id, for example:

[email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and so on.

    2) I can help by giving sms API from my sms server if U plan to develop
    >> Thanks for the offer. For now, we have planned to provide support of Twilio SMS Notifications with WCMp for SMS notification instead of creating any other add-on for the SMS notification facility.

Hope the above-shared information will be helpful.

    Thanks,

    1) but for example, if i am a t-shirt vendor, i should got enquiry of my uploaded t-shirts, not others.

@hakimisolutions – After hearing from you again, I conducted some more testing and found that the WooCommerce Product Enquiry Form is no more supporting WCMp. The reason behind this is the email system which has been changed in the latest version of WooCommerce.

I have added this aspect in our to-do-list. Once will fix this, we will inform you.

    Thanks,
    Rimpa

@hakimisolutions Could you please lay off the ALL CAPS on your topic titles and replies? It comes across as you yelling. That’s rude and I’ve de-capped your posts and topics.

@hakimisolutions- Sorry for the confusion, upon detailed testing I found that it works perfectly fine with our plugin. Here is the demo setup for your reference- https://demo.wc-marketplace.com/flatsome/.

Check the attachments for the test results:

Attachment 2- Email print for enquiry submitted in the above step: https://goo.gl/4q6gQT

Please check the plugin in your setup and in case you face any issues, do let us know.

@jan Dembowski- Thanks for stepping in. It was a fault on our side too as the testing wasn’t conducted properly which lead to this confusion and frustration for @hakimisolutions. Would refrain such incidents in future.

    Sandeep
