    Hi,

I have WordPress Multisite and added both plugin Global Hide Toolbar and Bruteforce on my network.

When I activated only Global Hide Toolbar the plugin doesn’t work (it doesn’t hide the toolbar).

When I activated Global Hide Toolbar and Bruteforce, it works (the toolbar disappears for customers). However it also disappears for admin (even if I don’t tick that option). And it shows a message on my dashboard saying that I can’t have both plugins active.

Can you please tell me how to sort this?
I just want the toolbar visible for admin in my network.

    Thank you,
    Bruno

The main plugin hides only (but without disabling) the admin bar and toolbar, by default only in the frontend, for all users except for admins, and has the control panel to be configured as you want.

The plugin bruteforce completely disables, at the level of the core of wordpress, the admin bar and toolbar, for both the frontend and the backend, for all admins and users roles, has no options to configure its operation.

Read the documentation before asking questions unnecessary.

In future it will be possible to disable the admin bar and toolbar for the backend, the version 1.7.0 and later.

Prior to this version 1.6.3 will be released by the end of May 2015.

Version 1.6.2 is in beta, and you can try, but it does not have this feature for now …

    Thanks!

Ok, I thought it could be possible to enable the admin bar/toolbar for backend admin and at same time disable it for frontend for all users.

By the way, for WPMU, “Global Hide Toolbar” can only be activated by network (it doesn’t let me activate it by site, like the “WP Toolbar Removal”).

    Thank you.

WPMU is a project deprecated, now you need to use Multisite.

WPMU and Multisite have their own rules for the activation of plugins, and Global Hide Admin Bar and Toolbar respect them in full.

Soon it will be also modified WP Toolbar Removal in this direction …
