    Since BuddyPress uses WordPress core registration functionality, YES registration forms created by ProfilePress can be use in lieu of BuddyPress registration form.

    The PRO version of ProfilePress has a feature to redirect BuddyPress registration form to your custom registration form (built with ProfilePress).
