I used getwid and stackable premium gutenberg blocks. Both don’t get blocked. I use the google maps block from getwid and the youtube player lightbox from stackable. can use them without accepting the cookie consent.

    Hi @nicmare,

I’ll check the Gutenberg blocks to see if we can integrate. We should recognize both YouTube and Maps, but it might be these Gutenberg blocks work differently.

oh cool thanks for quick response aert! to be more precise. in wpstackable i placed a “Video Popup” block with youtube url which loads the youtube iframe as soon as you open that popup.

@nicmare, as per your suggestion, I’ve added on our to do list a Gutenberg wrapper block which will function like our consent-area shortcode. As the functionality is already there (in the shortcode), it shouldn’t be too much work to add this.

Nice ! I already tried it with your shortcode which basically works. HTML output gets blocked. But the js and css assets still gets requested in header/footer. Tested with getwid google maps block.

The shortcode, or the future block, will only block what’s inside it.

But if these blocks are loaded with dedicated scripts you can better block them by adding the script URL’s to the script center.

okay will see how to block them. by the way: would be nice if the container blocker block does have media library function where i can pick an image as placeholder, and of course a text field for the placeholder text. thanks in advance!
