  • Hi there!

    As you can see here:

    https://jetpack.me/support/shortcode-embeds/

Jetpack also uses the [audio] shortcode, as does that plugin. That’s why there’s a conflict between the two.

Thanks, that what I thought the problem was, but wanted to be sure… kinda sucks that Jetpack does this… I mean it is great that so many audio plugins use the [audio] short code, it makes switching plugins either easy or hellish… Do you know if there is a way to turn off jetpack’s [audio] shortcode without turning off the other shortcodes provided by jetpack?

    Hi Hugh,

I just wanted to let you know that in an upcoming Jetpack release, there will be a filter included that will allow plugin authors to easily remove a Jetpack shortcode so that they can use it themselves. If this plugin doesn’t udate to take advantage of this filter, then you’ll be able to create a custom plugin to do just that, using the filter.

    I hope that helps!

    That is awesome. (About JetPack)
