I installed this plugin on my WordPress multisite, and it seemed to have no effect at all. Hitting /wp-json produced the usual page full of API information. I tried “network activating” the plugin, and activating it per site. No effect either way.

Is the plugin supposed to work for multisite? Thanks.

I also cleared all my WP caches. No difference.

The plugin is very basic and uses WP core functionality to disable the REST API for non-logged users. If you were logged in while testing, please log out and try again. Or you can try testing in a different/clean browser (where you are not logged in). Either way, I will investigate and try to resolve any issue on Multisite for the next plugin update. Thank you for reporting, @maiden_taiwan.

    Thanks for your quick response!

I just used an incognito browser to hit my site with your plugin enabled, and the API was still functioning. Thanks very much for looking into multisite issues.

Hey @maiden_taiwan, I just re-tested the plugin on Multisite and it seems to working normally. I tested with both network activation and single-site activation on WP Multisite. Correct results logged in, logged out, and using incognito/private browsing.

So not sure what the issue might be on your particular setup, but sounds like there might be some interference with another plugin or maybe something weird a theme is doing.

I hope this helps. Let me know if any new infos or if I can help further, thank you.
