Does it work with YIKES Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce?

We’re not familiar with this plugin, so we can’t say for sure. WP All Import has enough hooks that you would be able to write some custom code to get this working, but it probably would be fairly complicated. It all depends how the YIKES plugin stores data in the database.

You’d need to manually create a product with some custom product tabs, look in to the database, and then during the import process recreate whatever the YIKES plugin is doing.

Hi, during the import process i can’t see the tabs i create with YIKES custom product tabs, so i can’t recreate that… how can i do? :-/

You’ll need to look through the database to figure out how the tabs plugin is storing data. If you aren’t able to do this/don’t want to, perhaps you may consider hiring a developer do it for you: https://www.wpallimport.com/developers/

he says: “The fields this plugin creates are standard meta fields, so if you can map data within that plugin you should have no problems mapping the data to our fields.”

Does this mean we can use the auto detect feature in wp all import to find these meta fields that YIKES Custom Product Tabs adds?

If they use standard custom fields, then yes.

If that is created by the YIKES Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce plugin, then yes, that data is stored in a set of complicated serialized custom fields. You probably won’t be able to import data into those tabs using WP All Import.

We’re working with the YIKES team to create an addon to support this, but we have no idea when/if it’ll be released.

Any updates about support for YIKES Product Tabs? I need to import some information to some custom product tabs. Is there another plugin that supports All Import?

Keep in mind that the add-on is in beta, you should not run it on the production version of your site, but instead a testing version that you can quickly roll back if errors are encountered.

There are currently some known bugs related to re-running imports with changed tab information.
