Does Jetpack Video Press support China Region

    Hi,
    I am considering using Jetpack Video Press for my client’s online learning platform, but wondering if the videos hosted using Jetpack Video Press can be viewed by Users in China. Because due to the firewall and connection restrictions of China, I am not sure in this case whether the Video Press will work or not, please kindly advise or provide any previous experience on this, thank you in advance!

    Hi Chris,

    In the past, we had some users reporting VideoPress not working in China, but we are not sure if that is still the case.

    In the free Jetpack plan, we provide one VideoPress video upload limit, so I would recommend you test if the uploaded video is working in China.

    If you have any students there, you can ask for help from them with the testing.

    Hi Animesh,

    Thank you. I just tested the plugin and it seems to be working in a specific city in China but not sure about the others though, therefore I guess we can only test it out gradually.

    I just purchased the yearly plan and tested the plugin, it works in some cities in China but some don’t like beijing.

    If this can be fixed, that’d be great. Otherwise, I’m considering of others.
