Does Loco Translate get in the way of my SEO?

I need to translate my client’s website into 2 languages, Brazilian Portuguese and US English. However, the site is in Brazilian Portuguese and I need to first translate it all into Spanish. Can I do this with Loco Translate without messing with my SEO? Or would there be another alternative? I already have the translation plugin but it doesn’t default to a translated language.
