Does Neve support Infinite scroll on single posts

Neve supports infinite scroll on the blog page. This can be configured by:

• going to Customizer -> Layout -> Blog/Archive
• expanding Ordering And Content
• choosing the Infinite Scroll option under Post Pagination
• setting the Excerpt Length to the maximum value(which is 300, but the number of characters displayed won’t be 300, it will display the entire post even if it has more than 300 characters)

You can find an example with these settings that should be made to enable the infinite scroll here.

One followup question: The next post on single posts can be selected basis same tag or category or what other options are available for the same?

On your reply above, I’m looking to have infinite scroll on a single blog, not on the blog archive page.
Example: [ shortlink expanded into link field ] , if I scroll down this post, I’m looking to have the next post get loaded infinitely.
I need to migrate from my existing theme on this website to Neve, but Infinite scroll on individual blog is something that is critical for this migration

Hi @newbiedev!

The only option to enable infinite scroll is the one mentioned above, on the blog page. Enabling infinite scroll on single post pages is a premium feature and is available only with Neve Pro, so it can’t be done with the free version of Neve.

Regarding the next post question, it’s not possible to set a certain criteria for that option. For example, it’s not possible to set the next post from a certain category. The next post option displays only the next post in chronological order of publication, which is the order the posts are listed in blog page.
