Does Newsletter offer an internal sending service?

    Hello,

    From what I’ve gathered by searching these support pages, the forum and documentation, Newsletter does not provide its own mail sending service.

    Either I can set up the plugin to send mails through the (usually free, low quality) mail service of the website’s host, or I can set up an additional plugin to use an external, professional (usually paid, reliable) mail sending service.

    Can you confirm I got this right?

    Hello @wpguillaume,

    yes, we confirm you got that right : )

    We recommend a little bit of testing before actual sends if you’re going to use your own hosting provider SMTP servers: if performances are not acceptable, switch to an external service (they’re not so expensive, after all).
