Does not act as described in the YT video. Now what?

  • Installed the plugin and thought this would be an easy walk through. But didn’t even get the option the send a gift card via email.

    Checked the official YT video – at 1:40 it says How to create gift card codes. The option of creating multiple codes doesn’t appear. Althoug the option “If enabled, the recipient’s name and email fields will be mandatory in the virtual gift cards.” is checkmarked, there is no way to enter it somewhere.

    What am I missing?

    Hi,

    I hope you are having a great day.

    The option of creating multiple gift cards is reserved for the premium version of the plugin. With your version is only possible to create one gift card at a time in the plugin panel.

    Regarding the email option, in order to display the form in the product page to send gift card, please make sure your product is set as a virtual product ( option that is located as a small checkbox inside the product data section in the product edit page, next to the product type input ).

    Let us know if you have this option checked and you are still not able to see the form inside the product page.

    Thanks for your post. I still don’t see it. Is there any step by step guide for the free version? If that works, I can consider buying the premium…

    Right now, I don’t see how to create a code that can be redeemed.
