Does not connect to assistant service

    Hi – I followed all the instructions and I am told by the plug in that the back end service and it are successfully connected / correctly configured – however when I view my website I just get a blank / non-responsive chat window which pops up….i.e. no default “hello” text nor does it respond to my text entries as my assistant conversation service should …I tried various workspace URLS (I noticed the example had /conversation/ whereas my path had /assistant/ in it and both were indicated as ok by the plug in upon saving…

    I have a “coming soon” plugin active so dunno how you might access my site if you do want to take a look?

    Hi Alessandro,

    This appears to be due to the an incompatibility between the Watson Assistant plugin and your “Coming Soon” plugin. We’ll look into the issue and keep you updated on its status. Thanks for your patience.

    Hi there – many thanks for your response / guidance – I can conform it was not connecting due to a compatibility issue with the “Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeedProd 5.0.20”

    Great to see a open source / free plugin for Watson Assistant (with so many downloads / active users) on wordpress….I have just started launched a business focusing on Watson Cognitive services ?? would appreciate getting in touch with cognitive class to see how we could further collaborate
