    Hi everybody,

I just installed Product Feed Pro and can’t get my first feed to run.
I receive an error message on the final step saying

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function asXML() on boolean in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/technicalheadwear-com-au/public/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/classes/class-get-products.php:620 Stack trace: #0 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/technicalheadwear-com-au/public/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/classes/class-get-products.php(1906): WooSEA_Get_Products->woosea_create_xml_feed(Array, Array, 'false') #1 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/technicalheadwear-com-au/public/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/woocommerce-sea.php(2251): WooSEA_Get_Products->woosea_get_products(Array) #2 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/technicalheadwear-com-au/public/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/woocommerce-sea.php(1906): woosea_continue_batch('b92059e266e56bf...') #3 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/technicalheadwear-com-au/public/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): woosea_generate_pages('') #4 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/technicalheadwear-com-au/public/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters('', A in?/srv/users/serverpilot/apps/technicalheadwear-com-au/public/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/classes/class-get-products.php?on line?620

-When I go through the feed settings I see that the category mapping wasn’t saved. It’s empty.

-When I redo the mapping and go in again I see that all but one are now saved. The category that I can’t get saved is called “Chef’s Hat”. It always comes back as empty.

-When I manually trigger a feed creation it gets stuck on processing.

You can find the debug file here.

I looked at cron-jobs and everything is working fine. Nothing stuck or so. I have two woosea cron-jobs in the pipeline.

I checked Woocommerce logs and there is nothing there caused by the plugin. The last log is from September 11.

Any help in getting the feed to be created is greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Edward

  • Hi Edward,

What PHP version are you running? The plugin requires 5.6 at minimum (we advise 7).

    Hi Eva,

Sorry for not posting straight away. I thought this info was in the debug file.

My server is a Google VM and I am running
    PHP 7.1.22
    MySQL 5.7.23
    WP 4.9.8
    Woocommerce 3.4.5
Stateless 2.1.7 (outsourcing images to Google cloud)

    Cheers,
    Edward

@evavangelooven It is the plugin Stateless that is causing the issue.
They are working on a fix.

If I switch it off, the feed works fine.

    Thanks for looking into this.

Aha, great to hear you find the cause yourselves. We would have never found this cause.

    All the best,
    Eva

    Hello AdTribes.io

I tried to create product feed for Google shopping and Facebook. There was no error but when I complete all steps to create a feed, it is not created and in manage feeds it says You didn’t configured a product feed yet, please create one first.
However, I created it many times but it says the same.

    Hi rajshree09,

Would you be so kind, in future, to open a new issue for this (according to WP guidelines). This issue already has the status resolved which makes it hard for us to follow up on.

Do you happen to run an older version of PHP? The plugin is not supporting PHP versions older than 5.6 and prefers PHP 7 or higher.

Also, the WP Cron needs to be enabled for the plugin to be able to process product feeds so please make sure it is enabled.

    All the best,
    Eva
