Does Not Current Work with BuddyPress or BBPress

    Sorry to hear you’re having issues with Vantage. The particular issue from https://siteorigin.com/thread/buddypress-disappeared-with-update/ – should have been fixed in the latest version of Page Builder (version 2.1). Can you check which version of Page Builder you’re running? If you disable Page Builder does your activity feed come back?

    Also, can you try temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twelve and see if that fixes the issue. This will help us see if the issue is perhaps related to another conflict besides Vantage.

    Admittedly, Vantage doesn’t have full styling for BuddyPress and BBPress at this point in time (it’s something we’d like to work on), but there shouldn’t be any bugs in the theme that break it completely.

    Thank you for the reply Greg. I did everything you suggested. Perhaps BuddyPress does not actually do what I thought it did. Sigh. I hope I haven’t unfairly criticized the theme. I will keep working on it. I did purchase the premium version of Vantage and have been able to get it to do everything else that I want so far. The custom CSS coding has been particularly useful as I wanted to make the header, footer and middle sections all partially transparent so a background image would show through. With some experimentation I was able to get that working after many hours of trying things.
