    Hi Sayan,

I’m having trouble with your plugin. Your plugin (1.4.8) and my WordPress (5.0.3) site are up to date with the latest version.

However, when I go to “Enable for Posts on Frontend”, I click the save button and nothing happens. I’ve used your plugin on another site and works by advising your settings have saved correctly.

However, nothing happens when I click the button. I can’t get it to work at all. Any known issue or something I should be looking into?

And it won’t even get to this stage.

I’ve also tried using the shortcode with no success.

    Thanks.
    Luke

    Hi @lukewoz

Could you please give me the link of your one post? Try this method: “Change the Last Modified Display Method” to “Before Content” and save changes.

    Thanks!

    Hi @infosatech

Here is a link to a post. https://www.kitome.com.au/blog/building-kit-home-2/

In saying that – this is the issue – I can’t enable your plugin. I click save settings and nothing happens in order for me to use the plugin.

Here is a screen recording to show you what I mean. After I come back to this page – it’s still disabled.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Hi @lukewoz

Plugin settings may be corrupted. Go to Tools > Reset Settings and try to resave the plugin settings (https://prntscr.com/mnyzmr).

    Thanks!

    Hi @infosatech

    Unfortunately, that didn’t work either.

I’ve uninstalled and re-installed the plugin as well. This hasn’t worked either though.

Anything else I should be looking at? It just won’t react when I click the save button. All other plugins work fine/ so does the site.

    Thanks.

    Hi @infosatech

Unfortunately, I can’t provide Admin access.

The issue is still there where the save settings button won’t enable. I’ve also tested signing in to different browsers with no success.

We’ve just updated to WP 5.1 and ensured all plugins are up to date (I’ve tested this plugin on another website with 5.1 without issue).

No error messages are being logged from our end. All that happens is that we click the save settings button and nothing happens. The button presses in but doesn’t do anything.

https://snag.gy/Y80T2I.jpg – here are some of the plugins that we use on the settings page.

Any known issues with any of these plugins?

Hi, go to plugin settings and open browser console from browser settings. Then press the Save button of the plugin and see the console if there are any error message exist there. If any, give me the screenshot.

    Thanks!

    Hi @lukewoz

It seems that you left these fields blank.

Please fill up these fields and try to Save Plugin settings again.

    Thanks!

    Hi @infosatech

It looks like this has done the trick!

The problem is it didn’t provide any warning to fill out the fields on the other pages. The Posts page it did provide a warning for that field, but didn’t advise about the other pages which is why it didn’t save.

Either way, thank you very much for your assistance. Much appreciated.

@infosatech I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials. I have flagged your account temporarily. That just means that your post will need to be approved and @ notifications from you will not work.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
