does not have a valid header error

After this last update, i get this error when i visit my plugins page.
“The plugin better-search/better-search.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.”
I reinstalled the plugin yesterday and it installs fine and i can activate it, but this morning it again showed me the error again and deactivates it.
Its affecting 2 separate sites that use this plugin. They are on different hosts/servers. Am I the only one?
