Does not play nice with QTranslate Slug it seems

See https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/does-this-work-with-mqtransalte?replies=3#post-6558370. QTranlate Slug does work with mqtranslate, but this language switcher did not pick up on the updated slugs so loaded the old slug. ideas?
