    Hello,

    We recently updated our site to use WooCommerce PayPal Payments. After the update, we noticed that customers’ info, such as shipping address, does not send to PayPal. It is a pain because we use PayPal to ship via USPS.

    Please advise.

    Does this affect both PayPal and credit card payments, or only credit card payments?
    There is currently an ongoing issue at PayPal which affects advanced card payments (PayPal Card Processing) and prevents the shipping details from being transmitted to the PayPal order. So it would say “there is no address on file” in the PayPal order, despite the order containing non-virtual products.
    The team is looking into this and the problem should be resolved automatically without a plugin update.

    I believe it’s affecting both!

    Is there an ETA on getting this issue solved? Will it send shipping details to PayPal or do I need to enable a setting?

    I just did a test myself and can only recreate this issue when using the advanced card payment option. The issue does not show when I use PayPal for the payment. You can verify this when you review the PayPal order, you will see the error “We have no postal address on file” above the order details.

    Please verify this on your site as well. In case you encounter a similar issue with the PayPal option, there might be something else occurring, but it will not be covered in the bug Niklas mentioned. If this is the case, we might need to take a closer look at your setup and environment, or take a look at the system report and logs. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk.     However, I would think the issue is only occurring when the Advanced Card Payment is used, and we are aware of that issue. I have linked this thread to the bug, so you will be updated once we (PayPal) have resolved this.

    I have this same issue with my client’s website. We are using Advanced Payments. Would love to know when this issue is resolved. It definitely is frustrating for them.

    Hello @kdesignco

    We are chasing PayPal regularly to get this issue resolved. The issue is not caused on the plugin side, but on the server side, so PayPal needs to resolve this.
    We did get updated last week that they have expressed their desire for urgency on this already toward the team that should resolve it, but no concrete expectations were given to us so far.

    We will continue chasing them until this matter has been resolved.

    We got news from PayPal that this issue should be corrected on the 7th of January 2023. We will leave this thread open and verify at that time to see if it got resolved.

    last Friday evening, PayPal informed us that they had fixed this issue. I was able to test and confirm this today. Please test it on your side and let us know if you can verify the same. I will mark this thread as resolved, please open a new thread if you are still seeing any issues.
