Does Not Show Post Excerpt

I too have the same problem,I have checked (use post content in stead of post excerpt) but results no data received.After unchecked it right bact to the previous.
I hope for the best reply.I am using post per cat plugin(https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/posts-per-cat)

I could not get this to work… So I ended up using – TSP Featured Posts. It works great!

Can you provide more details – what Posts-per-Cat version, what WordPress version, what PHP version, how did you inserted PPC (widget, shortcode, theme hardcoded), what theme you use.

And, the best, maybe link to website?

On my website https://urosevic.net/wordpress/ excerpt works (WP 3.9.1, PPC 1.2.1) left sidebar – title Tips. Do you have (maybe) non-ASCII characters in excerpt/content?

wordpress version is 3.8.1
Posts-per-Cat version is 1.2.1
PHP Version :5.4.16
