• I set “Enable to display the post views chart at the toolbar.” but nothing appears in the toolbar. I use Donovan theme.

IT should be visible for all the posts that you are counting.

Where exactly does it have to appear?

Both admin and frontend, in the toolbar or so-called WP admin bar. You can’t miss it.

    I don’t see anything.

I am having a similar issue. In my case it shows a new button in the admin panel with the following text “…|……….”. Whenever I click on it nothing happens. I only started using the plugin since today. Could it be that it needs to generate more data? In the inspection panel it shows a new element with about 30 nodes out of which only one has some post views..

It means this is working properly. This minified chart “…|……….” will start make sense as soon as you have some data coming and will show the views for the currently viewed post. (btw. it’s not clickable)

Thanks for your reply and for clearing my misunderstanding about the button being clickable. I hoped to see some chart popping up ;).

I see that this “button” contains about 30 nodes, so assuming that it keeps track of page views per day for a month, does this countreference reset every month and start counting from 0 or does it keep adding (would like to know this to create a chart with the data). Or is there a chart functionality within the plugin I am overseeing?

It doesn’t reset – it keeps displaying data for the last 30 days, not monthly views for a given month so it does not reset. But if you set your reset interval (that affects daily views only) for less than 30 days there will be some missing nodes in the chart.

The charts are only available in the dashboard widget – there is no frontend chart feature. You could build it yourself of course using the functions available in the plugin.

Ah, so the last node is today and the secondlast node is yesterday. Good to know. And hope we see some built in charts in a pro version. Thanks!
