Actually the feature to display the slider is also available in the Free version . The slider can be set by choosing the page in the free version . Please refer to below link for any confusion .

It is obvious that the Pro version will have more option to set the slider from and this does not mean that the slider cannot be set in Free Version . The Free version also has the option to display the slider .
