Thank you for your comment. I’m sorry there was a problem with the plugin, and I want to help fix that. Can you provide more details? What exactly happens when you install then activate the plugin? Is there an error message? Other symptoms? Is Autoptimize installed and activated? Any details would help me try to duplicate the problem and solve it if there is one. Thanks again.

Since there’s been no follow up, and no other similar complaints have been reported, I’m going to close the issue as not able to reproduce. If you’d like additional support please let me know.

Hello, I apologize for not reponding but I didn’t receive a notification.
When I install the plugin and activate it, the website goes crazy.
I don’ have any error message and autoptmize is installed.
    Thank you

Hi @mapo85 – No worries on delay. Thanks for responding. I want to make sure users have a good experience with the plugin.

It looks like an issue with site pages being cached using another caching plugin, source (like aggressive server side caching by a hosting provider), or possibly a CDN. Do you have another caching plugin, service, or CDNin use for the site?

If so, when Autoptimize cache gets cleared, your site pages may be using a old cached version that is still looking for the older version of the Autoptimize file that gets loaded into your site pages, which can break styles in your pages like the image you sent. Usually this is not a problem because Autoclear performs a page refresh which recreates a new build of Autoptimize cache.

Once trick to try to verify this is to open the open a browser window or tab in Incognito or private browsing mode. If the page displays normally, than it’s working correctly, but your site is trying to serve a stale cached page. Clearing your browser cache will solve that. In edge cases like this, the plugin may not benefit you without adjusting other cache settings.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if I can help with this. I’d be happy to assist if I can.

    hi,
yes I have another plugin installed “WP Super Cache” but how do I use them both?

    thank you

The first time activate the Autoclear plugin, clear your WP Supercache cache. That should prevent your site trying to load an older cached version of the pages. We have 20+ clients and our own site uses autoclear with WP Supercache without any issue. But clearing object cache is always a good idea if you add or remove plugin that effect page or object cache. Please let me know if that helps or you have questions.
