Does not work after 01/2014 update

  • I’ve been around and around with this plugin for the last several days and have sites I have to make for clients and simply don’t have more hours to spend on why this plugin no longer works. It was a great simple plugin that worked before the 2014 update. Now it simply doesn’t work no matter what I do. You essentially have to do so much coding yourself that it makes no sense to use it any more. I might as well just go to EventBrite and copy and paste an event calendar onto a site page or look for another plugin that works.

    It worked great before the update and now simply links back to the homepage, no matter what I do. It’s been at least several days since the last update that broke the plugin and I need a calendar that works, so it’s time to move on since this one does not work.

  • Agree. I noticed everything was missing and when I checked I had to enter everything in again. After entering groups and setting up the plugin up it just doesn’t work.

    I had been experiencing this problem until I clicked on the Update Events Now button on yoursite//wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp_meetup_settings.

    Thanks for the input Johnm92008. We have found that many people have been having issues until they manually update the events.
