Can I still get help on this thread? I just learned that my wpDiscuz is not working as well – when readers go to submit a comment, nothing happens. When I go to do so (not logged in), it submits it but when I go to moderate it as an admin (logged in), I can’t see any text in the message and it says ‘Anonymous’ instead of the guest’s name and email address. I also left a comment when I was logged (as the admin / author) in and that one I could see the message content in moderation, but even then, only when I viewed it in the trash folder. I also have double checked my settings and have it allowing guests to submit comments. They don’t have to register or be logged in.

Could you please deactivate all plugins except wpDiscuz, then test it again.
In case that the issue will exist register and open a support topic in forum for deeper support.

I have the same problem as stated above. I upgraded to WP 4.9.5 and WPDiscuz stopped working. Instead of WPDiscus there’s loaded default tempera comment engine.

I tried the hack mentioned above with default form change, but without success.
We are using no caching plugins, so I don’t know which cache I should clear. CTRL+F5 didn’t help as well.

Try this go to wpdiscuz -> forms and edit forms and then update the forms don’t change anything just update it. It should work.

I tried it, but still the tempera comments are there.
Activation / deactivation didn’t help.
Not even remove & install helped. Still tempera comments.
