Does not work with Jetpack comments, but it's good.

  • Works like a charm. To enable on comments you need to disable Jetpack Comments and possibly Jetpack Likes plugins. Decided I don’t need the Jetpack comments with this and askimet.

    Contact Form 7 has instructions for Akismet, probably all you need on a contact form, but I also added a Spam check box to the form and require a phone number, so no need for this on Contact page.

    Might be the theme or another plugin. Switch themes, open incognito or private browsing window and go to example.com/wp-login.php and see if it shows up the captcha box.

    Both working here, but I set it on v2 of the google recaptcha. It’s just a checkbox, but it seems to work.

    I haven’t used wordpress DEBUG but the settings are in the
    wp-config.php to turn it on and assign a log file to write to (ck permissions), something like that may show an error.

    Easy though to check all your settings and then switch themes to test. If the theme uses javascript onclick event to submit and not form, that might be a problem.

    Jetpack Comments are displayed in the iframe. However, since it is iframe, we can’t add Google Captcha there.

    Note: Contact Form 7 now works but requires yet another plugin. It’s a free plugin and you just have to enter the keys again for it and leave BestWebSoft’s plugin installed for other forms.
