Does not work with Magazine Saga Theme

Hello,

I am trying to use this for some redirect pages. It worked flawlessly on another site I have, but on the Magazine Saga theme it only removes the content. Background images, headers, footers, page titles, etc are all still there. Is there anything I can do to get it to work?
